WASHINGTON, DC – Today, ASPIRE PAC Chair Grace Meng released the following statement after Vice President Kamala Harris rallied with the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rally celebrated the accomplishments that the Biden Administration have made for Asian Americans and served as the official launch of the Biden campaign’s AANHPI engagement program:
“I’m grateful for all the progress that President Biden and Vice President Harris have made for our AANHPI community and for their continued commitment to AANHPI priorities. It is especially meaningful to have the first AANHPI Vice President rally with our community and speak to the power of the Asian American vote. The AANHPI community is the fastest growing community of color in the country, and the Biden-Harris campaign understands that our vote and our voices matter. I applaud the campaign’s early investments in culturally competent, targeted communications toward the Asian American community, and I’m energized by the formal launch of their AANHPI engagement program. Vice President Harris made it clear that the AANHPI vote will be the difference maker for Democrats in November.”
