ASPIRE PAC is committed to supporting candidates of AANHPI descent and incumbents who represent large communities of AANHPI voters. As one of the only PACs dedicated to investing directly in the AANHPI community, ASPIRE PAC offers a voice for the AANHPI community and works to mobilize the AANHPI vote.
ASPIRE PAC is chaired by Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland and was launched in 2011 by Congresswoman Judy Chu. Today, the caucus has grown to 20 Democratic AANHPI Members of Congress, including 3 U.S. Senators.
According to the 2020 census, the AANHPI community grew by 35.5%, making it the fastest-growing community of color in the United States over the last two decades. In addition, our growing community has an outsized impact in key battleground states and districts. More than a third of registered AANHPI voters reside in battleground states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. AANHPI voters also represent significant voting populations in key battlefield districts in California, New Jersey, and New York.
This past cycle, ASPIRE invested in local AANHPI stakeholders and organizations engaged in culturally competent voter contact events, AANHPI-targeted canvassing, AANHPI-targeted mail, and AANHPI-targeted digital mobilization. Overall, these investments led to over 600,000 AANHPI voter contacts. ASPIRE also heavily invested in Asian American focus groups, polling, and oversamples. ASPIRE also invested heavily in AANHPI outreach and engagement during the NY-03 special election. It's clear that ASPIRE's work in the 2024 election cycle had a consequential impact on our community.
ASPIRE’s work has a direct impact on mobilizing the AANHPI vote, and ASPIRE is committed to winning back the House in 2026. We know that meaningful engagement with Asian American voters is critical to winning races up and down the ballot, across the country. The ASPIRE team is extremely grateful for your support as we continue to cultivate meaningful relationships between the AANHPI community and the Democratic Party.
