WASHINGTON, DC – Today, ASPIRE PAC announced its endorsement of former Congressman Tom Suozzi in the special election for New York’s 3rd Congressional District. Suozzi represented parts of Nassau County in Congress from 2016 to 2022 and was a member of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. New York’s 3rd Congressional District has an AANHPI community of 23.6%, one of the largest in the country. ASPIRE PAC Chair Grace Meng released the following statement:
“ASPIRE PAC is proud to endorse Tom Suozzi in the special election for New York’s 3rd Congressional District. He has been a proven ally of the AANHPI community and understands the issues that we face. We trust him to continue to advocate for safer communities and common sense gun safety, protect reproductive health rights, and to fight to lower taxes for homeowners and working class families. New Yorkers are tired of Republicans who have stood by George Santos and his lies. Tom Suozzi has a record of integrity and delivering results, and he will always put the needs of his constituents first, including New York AANHPI families.”
