ASPIRE PAC ENDORSES DAN KOH FOR MASSACHUSETTS' 3RD CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

WASHINGTON, DC - “ASPIRE is excited to support Dan’s campaign,” said Congresswoman Meng.  “Dan would be the first-ever Korean American Democrat in Congress, and the first Asian American Congressman from Massachusetts. Throughout his career, Dan  has been a dedicated advocate for AAPI communities. He knows that our diversity makes us stronger.”

“I am so grateful to have ASPIRE PAC’s support,” stated Koh. “My family immigrated to the United States from Korea and Lebanon, and was able to live the American Dream. I am incredibly proud of my heritage, and I will continue to promote and support Asian Americans and other people of color in leadership positions.”

ASPIRE PAC was proud to welcome six new Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Members of Congress in the 2016 election. Tammy Duckworth (IL) and Kamala Harris (CA) were elected to the Senate. In the House of Representatives, Stephanie Murphy (FL-07), first Vietnamese American woman; Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), first Indian American woman; Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08); and Ro Khanna (CA-17) all won their elections.
